Made with home-grown produce from the family farm in Cambridgeshire.
Savoursmiths is a British family business founded by Mike and Colette Russell Smith, whose potato crisps represent Englishness with a modern global twist, adventure, exoticism, nostalgia and above all, unquestionable quality.
Their crisps are made from potatoes grown on their family farm in East Anglia, where they have been growing potatoes since 1938. They use traditional techniques to make delicious crisps from their home-grown potatoes and high quality ingredients from around the world.
In September 2016 Colette and Mike came together to create something rather special; Savoursmiths Luxury Potato Crisps. Cut from potatoes grown on thier family farm in Cambridgeshire, they have created a better breed of crisps, with exceptionally indulgent and flamboyant flavours, leaving the skin on to increase nutritional value.
Although crisping potatoes is rooted to established and traditional techniques, Savoursmiths crisps are modern, intuitive and fearless, with a confidence born out of both knowledge and use of the best high quality ingredients from around the world.
Founded in 2016...

The Savoursmiths brand combines quality home-grown produce with big global flavours in stylish packaging for a totally new take on a traditional snack. Co-founder, Colette, said:
"Our decadent hand-cooked English potato crisps are planted and picked locally, then sliced, cooked, packed (and often devoured imminently) here at our very own family farm; Russell Smith Farms in Cambridgeshire. The Russell Smith family has been farming potatoes since 1938 so we know our roosters from our russets – but from modest beginnings has grown a more stylish snack, a luxurious and decadent crisp to truly savour!"
Savoursmiths understands the importance of traceability and sustainability, using accredited farming methods and championing sustainable agriculture to ensure culinary excellence. Colette, of Savoursmiths, said:
"Here at Russell Smith Farms, we strive to get the most out of our land whilst caring for the environment and beautiful pastures in which it lies. The family farm is a member of FWAG, LEAF, the Soil Association and is signed up to the Government’s stewardship schemes. Savoursmiths is also a member of LEAF."
At East of England Co-op we are proud to support our local suppliers, whether they started in 1916 or 2016. The team at Russell Smith Farms said:
"It is a very competitive market, but it is so lovely to see how East of England Co-op supports new and local small businesses like ours.
East of England Co-op has helped us to grow our business, take on new employees in our area and, in turn, support families in the surrounding areas.
We are a third generation potato farm and we decided to expand our business to open up new opportunities in order to support our farm and the success of British farming. Through East of England Co-op supporting our business, we are able to continue farming successfully and support our workers.
We are very proud to be part of the East of England Co-op family and incredibly thankful for their support. We would not be where we are without them."
