We're delighted to have been able to present four local charities, which support volunteering across our region, with a share of £14,000 thanks to funds raised at the annual Co-operative Retail Trading Group’s (CRTG) Supplier Awards Dinner.

The four charities to benefit were:

Voluntary Norfolk

"Voluntary Norfolk promotes, supports and develops volunteering and the work of voluntary organisations, encouraging recognition and understanding of the value of the sector in the achievement of individual well-being and an inclusive and fair society."

Colchester Community Voluntary Services (CCVS)

"CCVS enables affective communities and voluntary action by empowering and inspiring local society through five core values - support, development, liaison, representation and stategic partnership working."

Community Action Suffolk

"Community Action Suffolk's vision is that Suffolk communities are stimulated, empowered and strengthened through an effective and sustainable voluntary and community sector. Its mission is to strengthen and champion community action in Suffolk by supporting the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in its work."

Volunteer Essex, Volunteer Bureau for Tendring

"Volunteer Bureau for Tendring brings together volunteers and agencies working to support volunteers and volunteering."
