NHS latest tenants to join Wherstead Park
The NHS will next month be joining the East of England Co-op at their Headquarters at Wherstead Park in the outskirts of Ipswich.
NHS Property Services has a major role as both a landlord and a provider of Facilities Management Services, with a portfolio of over 3,500 buildings including GP surgeries, hospitals and offices. Their role is to ensure the estate remains fit for purpose, generating vital funds that are reinvested to support frontline patient care.
This autumn, members of the finance, facilities management and health and safety team for NHS Property Services in our area will relocate to Wherstead Park.
Jim Runnacles, Senior Finance Manager East, for Property Services, said: "The team and I are delighted to be moving to Wherstead Park. It has such a friendly atmosphere in a beautiful setting and fantastic facilities, as well as great transport links. I’m sure we will be very happy there.”
Nick Denny, Joint Chief Executive for the East of England Co-op, said: “I’m pleased the NHS Property Services team will be joining us here at Wherstead Park, we’re very much looking forward to welcoming the team.
“Wherstead Park provides office space for a wide range of businesses, including the East of England Co-op, P&O, Samskip, Ellisons Solicitors and Trenter and Bacon mortgage advisors, making it a vibrant and interesting place to work.”
Interest has also been shown in The Stables office space, a detached Grade II listed building alongside the main entrance to Wherstead Park. Further detail on the remaining space at Wherstead Park is available through Fenn Wright on 01473 232701.
