Work starts on £4million retail development in East Ipswich

Building works have begun on our £4million retail park development on Felixstowe Road, Ipswich.

Demolition work began last week at the our Rosehill Retail Centre, which will see over 4,000 sq. ft. of retail space created, providing units for a further three retail outlets and parking for over 160 cars.

Nick Denny, our Joint Chief Executive said: "This is an exciting development for us as a business and property developer.

"As a local business we're proud to be investing over £4million into this development, working with local contractors and consultants, creating more jobs for local people and providing new services for the local community."

Our Co-op Daily food store will remain in its current location, with Aldi moving into a new purpose built unit on the site. A third tenant has been secured and will be announced shortly. We're also in advanced discussions with a potential tenant for the road site unit and are progressing conversations for the final unit.

Work will continue over the coming months, with the aim of having all five retail units open by Easter 2018.
