New East of England Co-op Travel branch coming to Woodbridge as retailer continues investment in the town

The East of England Co-op has announced it is opening a new travel branch in Woodbridge as the retailer continues to build upon its long history of serving the town.

Opening on Thursday 30 May, the branch, located in the East of England Co-op’s existing Hamblin Walk Food store will be open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

Welcoming holidaymakers to the branch will be Travel Branch Manager Amanda Lucas. Amanda has over 30 years’ experience in the travel industry, having started her career on holiday transfer coaches, and has lived and worked in countries across the world, including the Caribbean.

As an independent travel agent, the branch will offer a wide range of holidays from beach breaks to family getaways. The team will provide expert and impartial advice on holiday bookings, travel insurance, currency exchange and guidance on destinations for those with health requirements.

As part of its continued commitment to working with local communities, holidaymakers booking through the East of England Co-op will also earn dividend points on bookings.

Branch Manager, Amanda Lucas, said: “I have always had a passion for exploring new places and meeting people which is why I jumped at the chance to become the new Travel Branch Manager in Woodbridge. The new Woodbridge travel branch marks the 15th independent travel agency currently operated by the East of England Co-op as it continues its ambitious growth plans in the region.
