About our chapel

Our Wimpole Road funeral branch is home to our unique service chapel, which provides a light and modern setting for the funeral service of your loved one. Tailor the service by making use of our Obitus music system and host up to 100 guests with on-site parking and flexible service slots available Monday to Friday.

Our Wimpole Road Service Chapel allows us to support you every step of the journey, continuing the care and professionalism you experience from your first visit, through to saying goodbye to your loved one.

Located at 89 Wimpole Road, Colchester, Essex, CO1 2DB, our Service Chapel is easily accesible, with on-site parking to accomodate family and friends. The Service Chapel is just a 10 minute drive from Colchester train station and the A12 or A120 can be reached within 15 minutes.

Our Service Chapel provides:

Up to 80 seated and 20 standing spaces for family and friends
Wheelchair accessibility
On-site parking
Flexible service slots (Mon-Fri)
On-site rest room
Available for non-religious funerals, celebrations of life and religious funerals

Our Wimpole Road Service Chapel offers two affordable services. Our chapel and cremation option is a cost-effective way to arrange a complete funeral service. This service package includes the cremation which will take place locally following the funeral service.

We also offer a chapel only package, which is an ideal option for those that wish to host the funeral service and then have a burial at an alternative location. You will have full use of our service chapel for 1 hour.

Service Chapel and Cremation Service

This service package includes the cremation which will take place locally following the funeral service. This is a cost-effective alternative to having the funeral service at the crematorium itself.
