Annual Members' Meeting, Friday 23 May 2025

This year we're excited to host our Annual Members' Meeting in person at The Hold in Ipswich. 

Join us at The Hold, from 5pm on Friday 23 May, for your chance to view their fantastic exhibitions and meet with and sample products from our local producers, ahead of the main meeting. 

Register and you'll have the chance to enter a prize draw to join a private, behind-the-scenes guided tour of the Suffolk Archives, including historical records from our co-op. (Terms and Conditions apply. See the bottom of this page.) 

Not able to join us in person? 
You still have the opportunity to join us, ask questions and vote on motions online. 
If joining online, the main meeting will start at 6.15pm. 

If you wish to join our AMM 2025, either in person or online, you must register by 5pm on Friday 16 May 2025.

(Spaces to join in person are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.)

What is the Annual Members' Meeting?

The Annual Members' Meeting is the East of England Co-op's annual general meeting. This meeting brings together our members, colleagues and Directors, giving you the opportunity to have your say. It is open to all East of England Co-op members to attend.

What happens during the meeting?

At this meeting, our members get the opportunity to put questions to our Board of Directors and our Senior Leadership team. There will be updates on what we've been up to in the last financial year. We'll also announce the results of our Election of Directors, as well as receive the Annual Report and Accounts. 

Members will be able to vote on motions for 2025/26 including dividend, Director's fees, our co-op's auditors and Co-op Party subscription. 

Members that have been with our co-op for over six months at the date of our AMM and that have a minimum of £1 in their share account can vote on motions during the meeting. 

Those attending in person this year will also have the opportunity to take in the exhibitions at The Hold as well as meet with and enjoy tastings from our local suppliers. Light refreshments will also be available.

What if I'm unable to attend?

We appreciate that some members may not be able to join us. A recording of the meeting will be made available for viewing online following the event. 

  • Terms and Conditions - Prize draw

    PROMOTER: East of England Co-operative Society, Wherstead Park, The Street, Wherstead, Ipswich IP9 2BJ 

    COMPETITION DATE: 14/04/2025 to 16/05/2025 

    1. This prize draw is open to East of England Co-op members, including East of England Co-op colleagues and their immediate family members.  
    2. Prize: One of twelve spaces for a one-hour behind-the-scenes guided tour with an archivist at The Hold, Ipswich on Friday 23 May 2025 from 5pm to 6pm.  
    3. To qualify for entry into the prize draw you must have registered to attend our Annual Members’ Meeting 2025 in person and confirmed your entry into the prize draw by 5pm on 16/05/2025. 
    4. The prize winners will be chosen at random from those who have entered and will be contacted via email by 5:00pm on 19/05/2025. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner by 5.00pm on 20/05/2025, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.  
    5. The winner’s names can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Communications, East of England Co-operative Society, Wherstead Park, The Street, Wherstead, Ipswich IP9 2BJ between 19/05/2025 and 02/06/2025. 
    6. The decision of East of England Co-operative is final and no correspondence will be entered.  
    7. All elements of the prize are subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.  
    8. The winners may be required to participate in publicity.
