East of England Co-op opens first Woodbridge Travel branch

East of England Co-op’s first travel branch in Woodbridge is now open, continuing its extensive history of serving the communities of Suffolk.

As an independent travel agent, the branch will offer a wide range of holidays from beach escapes to city breaks. The team will provide expert and impartial advice on holiday bookings, travel insurance, currency exchange and guidance on destinations for those with health requirements.

The branch saw a busy opening day as locals spoke with Travel Branch Manager Amanda Lucas about their travel plans. Amanda will be supported by Travel Consultants Lillian Shaw and Lucy Austin.

Holidaymakers will be able to visit the new branch, located within the existing East of England Co-op Hamblin Walk Food store, Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

Branch Manager, Amanda Lucas, said: “It was wonderful to see local faces popping in to chat ahead of the busy holiday season. Woodbridge has a proud community and being on the doorstep of local landmarks like Sutton Hoo, is no stranger to holidaymakers.

East of England Co-op is also running a competition, offering £500 off one person’s holiday. To enter, customers must go to the branch’s Facebook page and comment on the competition post, stating where they’d like to go on holiday, a winner will then be chosen at random.

As part of its continued commitment to working with local communities, holidaymakers booking through the East of England Co-op will also earn dividend points on bookings.

The travel branch is ABTA registered to provide additional protection for holidaymakers when booking, alongside a commitment to high quality service through its Code of Conduct.
