Three spacious, three-bedroom homes just outside Ipswich are complete and available to let.

The modern homes, on Woodbridge Road, are the latest of the East of England Co-op’s property development projects to be completed.

Work on the homes, which are built to a high standard with garages, large gardens and high specification internal finishes, began just 10 months ago, in July 2020. The build was completed quickly and efficiently whilst complying with strict Covid-19 restrictions.

The development was constructed by local, Great Blakenham based contractors, Elliston Steady and Hawes. Each of the properties features en-suite bathrooms to the master bedrooms as well as an additional family bathroom, and a modern open plan kitchen, dining and living space to the ground floor.

East of England Co-op Joint Chief Executive, Nick Denny said: “We’re really pleased to have completed this latest project in just 10 months.

“Elliston, Steady and Hawes have done a fantastic job constructing the homes to an incredibly high standard whilst complying to Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions.

“This latest development is an important part of our work to develop a selection of the sites we own into high quality, much-needed places to live. We are proud to be adding these family homes to our portfolio.”

The East of England Co-op works with local companies wherever possible and in addition to working with Suffolk based Elliston, Steady and Hawes, the build was completed largely by local contractors and most of the materials used were locally sourced as well.

Jack Kingston of Elliston Steady and Hawes said: “We are proud to have worked with the East of England Co-op to provide further, new high quality homes for local people.”
