Mountain Warehouse coming to Woodbridge Thoroughfare

The East of England Co-op has this week announced that Mountain Warehouse is to open within their former food store on the Thoroughfare in Woodbridge.

The East of England Co-op has this week announced that Mountain Warehouse is to open within their former food store on the Thoroughfare in Woodbridge.

Mountain Warehouse has been providing outdoor clothing and equipment for all the family since 1997. They pride themselves on stocking quality products and having knowledgeable staff able to give advice to customers.

Malcolm McNeill, Head of UK Retail for Mountain Warehouse, said: “We are thrilled to be opening a Mountain Warehouse store in Woodbridge next year, and also delighted to announce we will be recruiting locally in the area for 8 members of staff to join the Mountain Warehouse team.”

Planning approval was also granted earlier this year for four flats to be created above the store. Contractors have now been instructed to create the four homes and retail unit, which are both scheduled for completion in spring 2018.
