This Sunday 12 August from 1pm, Haverhill Rovers Football Club will be opening its doors for a special family fun day in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Centred on a walking football tournament, as well as cheering on the local teams, there will be lots of activities for the family to enjoy, from arts and crafts stalls to refreshments and ice-cream.

Organised by Emily Liversidge, Funeral Co-ordinator at the local East of England Co-op Funeral Services branch, she said: "The East Anglian Air Ambulance receives no government funding at all and rely solely on donations from the public. I feel proud to have organised an event that supports such a worthy cause, as well as providing the local community with a fun family day out."

Raffle prizes have also been donated by local companies, including tickets for the National Trust, Shepreth Wildlife Park, Curve Motion, Framlingham Castle, Anglia Indoor Karting and many more, with all proceeds going to the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) provides a helicopter emergency medical service for the people of East Anglia. Since launching in 2000, the EAAA has attended over 20,000 lifesaving missions, touching the lives of many thousands of people.

Join the family fun on Sunday 12 August, from 1pm to 5pm at Haverhill Rovers Football Club, Chalkestone Way, CB9 0AW. Free parking is available on-site. For more information about the day call Emily at the East of England Co-op Funeral Services, Haverhill on 01440 282030.
