Help fill Santa’s Suitcase this Christmas

In this section

East of England Co-op travel branches across Suffolk and Essex have started to collect new toys, games and books for the East Anglian Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Our travel teams are encouraging communities to help them fill Santa’s Suitcase between now and the 12 December, an annual campaign that last year saw over 600 toys, games, book and cuddly toys kindly donated by local people.

Caroline Thorne, our Travel Manager, said: “Each year we’re overwhelmed by the kindness shown by our members, customers and local families.

“Since the campaign began, together we have donated thousands of toys to our Santa’s Suitcase appeal and we’re sure this year will be no exception.”

Collection points can be found in all of our travel branches across Suffolk and Essex, from Monday 7 November to Monday 12 December.

Hannah Walker, EACH Suffolk Fundraiser, said: “EACH is really pleased to be receiving this support and we thank East of England Co-op for thinking of us.

“Toys are obviously an important part of childhood and I’m sure the children and young people we care for will enjoy playing with the items collected.”
