East of England Co-op to host GoGoHares ‘swap shop’
They’ve proved so popular, a third chance to join a GoGoHares sticker swop is coming to Norwich on Saturday 22nd September.
Following the success of its sticker swap shops over the summer holidays, the East of England Co-op is set to host a third event as part of its sponsorship of the GoGoHares trail in Norwich.
Followers of the trail who have not yet managed to collect the full set of cards needed to complete the GoGoHares’ 60 page sticker book are being given another chance to get together and trade their duplicates with each other.
The GoGoHares swap shop will take place between 10:00am and 2:00pm on Saturday 22nd September 2018 at the East of England Co-op, 110 Hall Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 3HP. Previous events saw GoGoHares fans gather to swap stickers at the East of England Co-op stores on Laundry Lane in August and in Sprowston in July.
Lee Eglington, Branch Manager at the East of England Co-op said: “The GoGoHares stickers and albums have been a great success at our store and we are looking forward to helping as many people as we can to complete their sticker books.”
Official stockists of the GoGoHares sticker books and stickers, the East of England Co-op sold trail accessories throughout the summer in 33 of their food stores in and around Norwich.
GoGoHares 2018 is presented by Break charity in partnership with Wild in Art. The Hare was chosen as it is a popular iconic subject for artists and can regularly be seen in the countryside of East Anglia. Along with 50 city hare sculptures to celebrate 50 years of Break that will form the city trail, there will also be a further 18 moongazer hare sculptures positioned across Norfolk. Together this makes 68 hares, signalling to the year that Break was started.
The interactive trail has attracted thousands of tourists throughout the summer. People following the trail had an opportunity to do so using the GoGoHares App which can be downloaded by searching gogohares on your normal app store.
There will be a last chance to see all of the large sculptures at Hare Today Gone Tomorrow between 7 – 10th October 2018, before they are auctioned off on 11th October 2018 to raise valuable funds for Break.
The East of England Co-op’s ‘Funny Bunny’ hare is on display outside the food store at Norwich station right up until the end of the trail on Saturday 8th September 2018.
