Co-op Secure Response team sponsor local Women’s Football club

Co-op Secure Response is a new sponsor of Needham Market Women’s Football Club.

We are pleased to annonce Co-op Secure Response, is sponsoring Needham Market Women’s Football Club.

The sponsorship will cover travel to and from league games for the current season, a pitchside board at the team’s 3G Pitch and player sponsorship of Lindsey Smith, who has worked for the East of England Co-op for 15 years.  Co-op Secure Response will also be carrying out a free security audit to spot any potential improvements that can be made to help keep both the club and local community safe.

With the increasingly popularity of women’s football – boosted even further this summer thanks to the roaring success of the Lionesses at the Euros – the Secure Response team wanted to do their bit to support local teams. As well as supporting colleague Lindsey, the sponsorship of Needham Market Women’s FC coincides with the recent opening of the new East of England Co-op food store on Hurstlea Road in the town.

With our team being big sports fans, and with our colleague, Lindsey, being a part of Needham Market Women’s FC, this was something we were collectively excited to be part of. Keeping our local community safe is our top priority, and providing those services for local clubs and groups is really rewarding.”

Lindsay has worked within the East of England Co-op since 2007 in various positions until she landed her current role as Contact Centre Advisor, providing technical advice and support to customers.
