If you're eligible to vote, you'll be sent an email with a link to our online voting portal. If you've registered to vote by post, then you'll receive your ballot papers in the mail.
On your online or postal ballot, you'll be able to view the candidates, read their personal statements and cast your vote.
As part of this year's nomination process, we asked candidates to provide an outline of the skills, experience and attributes that they would bring to the Board, including:
- Board Skills - This relates to the skills needed to oversee the long-term success of a co-operative. Skills and experience may include financial management, co-operative governance, people and performance or change management.
- Personal attributes, knowledge or experience of a retail environment - This is intended to capture our candidate's involvement and passion in the co-operative movement as well as any relevant sector experience. They may evidence experience of leadership, analytical thinking and communication, as well as practical experience of promoting constructive challenge and a culture of openness and debate.
Both our postal and online voting are operated by independent election specialists, Civica, who are regulated by the electoral commission. If you're eligible to vote, but have not registered, the deadline to register for a postal vote is 8 May and for online voting the 14 May.
If you've previously registered but have not received your online or postal voting form, please contact Civica on 0208 889 9203 or email support@cesvotes.com who'll arrange for this to be sent to you.
Both postal and online votes must be received by Civica by 12noon on 22 May 2025.
