Here’s a list of organisations and agencies that you might find helpful in offering wellbeing support.

Rural Coffee Caravan

They provide a free service helping rurally isolated people in Suffolk access services and information to improve their lives, health and wellbeing.  They strengthen rural communities, bring people together and help alleviate loneliness.

ThinkAvellana offer a range of services designed to help individuals, families, schools and businesses to work towards their goals. 


NHS Five Ways to Wellbeing

Evidence suggests there are 5 steps you can take to improve your mental health and wellbeing. Trying these things could help you feel more positive and able to get the most out of life.

Sammy The Sea Squirt Crowdfunding Appeal

Suffolk Mind have launched a crowdfunding appeal for the creation of a book, based around the benefits of exercise on mental health, tobe given to every reception aged child in Suffolk


Norfolk & Waveney Mind

They work to reduce the stigma associated with mental health, support people in their recovery and champion better services for all.  They can provide information and support if you’re managing a mental health problem or supporting someone who has a problem.



Mid and North East Essex Mind

They believe that no-one should have to face a mental health problem alone and are there for people who are stressed, depressed or in crisis.



Suffolk Libraries

They are a charity that nurtures children’s literacy, supports vulnerable people and promotes wellbeing across Suffolk.

Age UK Norfolk

Offering a range of services to support older people in later life such as telephone befriending and dementia services.

A local charity working in Ipswich and across Suffolk to keep people active, connected and involved with their community through accessible sports and exercise, new skills and volunteering opportunities.



Mens Sheds

Offering community spaces for men to connect, converse and create. The activities are similar to those of garden sheds, but for groups of men to enjoy together. They help reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, they’re fun.  There are branches in most communities in Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.
