We're very excited to be opening our new Woodbridge store tomorrow, Thursday 27 October 2016 at 9am, with a host of celebratory offers and entertainment for our members and customers.

Teams from across the business have been working hard to transform the former Budgens store from top to bottom, inside and out and are now looking forward to welcoming residents and visitors alike.

The first 100 customers through the doors will each receive a golden envelope with the opportunity to win a range of prizes, from gift vouchers to spend in-store up to the value of £100, to smoothie makers and a 40" television.

From 2pm to 2.45pm, budding Ipswich Town fans will have the opportunity to meet their idols with two first team players making an appearance for autograph signing and photographs.

New store manager Chris Matthews said: "The team and I are really looking forward to welcoming customers to their brand new store. We have lots of great activities planned from competitions and give-aways to entertainment from magicians and a jazz band."

Returning customers will be greeted by familiar faces, with the former Budgens colleagues joining those from the former East of England Co-op Thoroughfare store along with 15 new colleagues. The Thoroughfare store closes today, Wednesday 26 October, at 8pm.

Opening celebrations will continue throughout the weekend with tastings of Sourced Locally products on Friday 28 October and a Halloween themed event on Saturday 29 October, with free face painting and pumpkin carving for members.
