The East of England Co-op Halstead Supermarket on Weaver's Court is inviting the community to visit their new look store, with a host of celebratory offers and entertainment on Wednesday 27 September.

The first 100 customers through the doors between 10am and 4pm will each receive a golden envelope with the opportunity to win a range of prizes, including gift vouchers to spend in-store to electrical items and M&Co vouchers to spend in the newly opened concession.

There will be entertainment throughout the day, including a special performance from the Richard De Clare Community School Choir at 2pm.

As well as tastings of Shaken Udder milk shakes, East of England Co-op members can enjoy a free cup of tea at Weaver's Cafe between 9am and 3pm. There will also be the opportunity to win a set of Protected World animals and Sourced Locally goodies.

Members of the East of England Co-op can choose to support one of three local causes every time they shop through the Community Token Scheme. Groups currently being supported include the Feering Community Association, Coggeshall Youth Project and Halstead Juniors Cricket Club.
