East of England Co-op coming to East Harling

Regional retailer, the East of England Co-op, has announced it will be opening a new Food store in East Harling, having successfully acquired the East Harling Village store on Market Street.

Keen to ensure that the local community continue to have access to the store, from Monday 1 Novemberm a temporary shop space will be created whilst the East of England Co-op remodel the remainder of the store in time for Christmas. 

With the East Harling store having once been owned by the former Thetford Co-operative Society, Roger Grosvenor, joint chief executive at the East of England Co-op, said: "We're incredibly pleased to be bringing a member owned co-operative back to the village. We'll be working hard over the coming weeks to deliver a store that the community can be proud of."

As of Monday 1 November, the temporary store space will be open Monday to Satursday 7.30am to 9pm, and Sunday 8am to 8pm. For further details click here.
