East of England Co-op announced opening date for Food store and Travel branch in Hellesdon
The East of England Co-op have confirmed their brand-new Food store and Travel branch on Reepham Road, Hellesdon will open on Thursday 4 December.
The upgraded food store, opening at 6am, is moving to the site of the former Broadland Snooker Hall. It will offer an extended product range, including an improved food-to-go offering. All current colleagues, along with Post Office services, will move to the new location.
As part of the relocation of the retailer’s Hellesdon Food store, the East of England Co-op will launch its first Travel branch in Norfolk, which will be situated within the larger, modern store, as it continues to build on the success and growth of its Travel business across the region. The Travel branch will also open on Thursday 4 December, at the later time of 9am.

Investing in communities is vitally important to us at the East of England Co-op and being able to provide our members and customers in Hellesdon with a first-class food store makes us all very proud.
“As well as improving the Food store experience for our members and customers in Hellesdon, we’re also expanding our Travel service to Norfolk. This landmark moment shows our commitment to serving our communities, across all our family of businesses.”
