East of England Co-op Funeral Services reopens Maldon branch after refurbishment

The East of England Co-op Funeral Services has reopened its Maldon branch following a six-week refurbishment programme.  

The branch, located on Market Hill, has been upgraded, providing enhanced facilities for local families. Improvements include a larger reception area and an expanded Chapel of Rest, offering a peaceful setting for clients to spend time with their loved one.  

A new mural depicting scenes from Maldon has also been installed as part of the refurbishment. The artwork has been thoughtfully designed to create a calming atmosphere while honouring the local area the branch has proudly served for many years.

This investment reflects our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve, and the improvements have been made with local families firmly in mind – creating a calm, comfortable environment where people can feel supported, listened to and cared for at one of life’s most difficult times.” 

The branch is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and continues to support families across Maldon and the surrounding area.
