Fruity Yoghurt Parfait
Serves: 4 small glasses
Age: 3+ (with adult help for cooking)
Ingredients:
- 500g Co-op natural or Greek yoghurt
- 250g Co-op mixed fruit (strawberries, bananas, berries)
- 60–80g granola or crushed biscuits
- Co-op Squeezy Honey (optional, for over 1s)
Instructions:
- Wash the fruit carefully and ask an adult to help chop it into small, bite-sized pieces.
- Spoon a layer of yoghurt into the bottom of each glass or cup.
- Add a layer of chopped fruit on top of the yoghurt.
- Sprinkle over some granola or crushed biscuits for a crunchy layer.
- Keep building the layers — yoghurt, fruit, then crunch — until the glasses are full.
- If using honey, ask an adult to drizzle a little on top.
- Serve straight away and enjoy together as a special Mother’s Day treat.
Tips for Kids
- Let children help spoon the layers.
- Count the layers together.
- Use clear glasses so the colours show.
Easy Variations
- No granola: Use crushed digestive biscuits
- Dairy-free: Use plant-based yoghurt
- Extra fun: Add a few sprinkles on top
