Sally joined our Board of Directors in 2026, she brings over 25 years’ experience in local government and is a passionate advocate for local services as the foundation of strong, thriving communities. As Chief Executive of the Suffolk Association of Local Councils, she works closely with what is often described as the grassroots of local government, supporting councils and communities to achieve their goals.

She is driven by a belief in enabling growth through confidence-building, helping individuals and groups to develop, collaborate and work together towards shared ambitions.

Outside of her professional role, Sally enjoys singing with an Ipswich-based a cappella choir. She also has a keen interest in pottery, gardening and cookery, and values spending time with family and friends.
