Choosing the right memorial for your loved one is not only a fitting tribute to their life and memory, it’s also one of the last gifts you can give to them. You can trust us to be with you every step of the way as we help you create the perfect memorial.

At our stonemasons H.L Perfitt, our award-winning craftsmen are trusted by the UK military to hand carve the Armed Forces Memorial at the National Arboretum in Staffordshire. The same expert craftsmen are here to help you create the perfect tribute for your loved one.

Helping you choose the perfect memorial.

Our simple five-step process helps you to consider the type of quality of stone, the choices of beautiful memorial shapes, lettering styles and words – as well as the designs you might like to feature.

  • Step one

    Choose your stone

From highly-polished black granite, through to traditional light grey granite or a striking blue pearl – we can create your memorial from the best quality stone of your choice.

  • Step two

    Choose your headstone shape

There are many shapes that you can choose from and we are happy to discuss the most popular options with you.

  • Step three

Choose your words, lettering, style and finish

The inscription on the stone truly personalises the memorial to reflect the life and personality of your loved one. You could choose a significant date, a religious verse, a simple poem or even something your loved one often said.

  • Step four

    Choose the memorial design

Hand crafted or etched images can also be chosen to reflect the personality and interests of your loved one.

  • Step five

    Additions

You may wish to add a vase to you headstone.
