Halloween Colouring Competition Terms and Conditions

This competition is organised by the East of England Co-op, Wherstead Park, The Street, Wherstead, Ipswich IP9 2BJ  

The East of England Co-op reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel or amend the competition at any time without prior notice.

In the event of any dispute regarding the competition, the final decision of the East of England Co-op shall be binding and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into. Terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.  

Qualifying entrants  

Entrants must satisfy the following conditions to enter the competition:  

Be aged 0-12 years with three age groups for entry: 0-4 years 5-8 years 9-12 years  

Submit an entry using one of the templates supplied by the East of England Co-op  

Employees of the East of England Co-op and their families are eligible to enter this competition. Competition Entries  

Entries can be handed in at any participating East of England Co-op store. Please ensure that contact details are submitted with the entry.  

The closing date for the competition is close of business on 31st October 2025. 

Entries received after the closing date are automatically disqualified.  

Each store will appoint a judging panel of independent people who will select a winner in each age category. These will be judged blind, with the judges not knowing who has submitted each entry.  

There will be one winner in each age group in each participating East of England Co-op store. 

All winners will be contacted and invited to the East of England Co-op store where their entry was submitted to receive their prizes.  

Artwork cannot be returned and, where space allows, will be displayed in participating stores. Some entries will also be displayed on the East of England Co-op’s social media channels.  

The East of England Co-op no responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason or for missing contact details submitted with each entry.  

By entering this competition, the parent/guardian on behalf of an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.  

Prizes  

The overall winner in each age category will receive a multi pack of sweets or selection box. These prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives to the prizes will be offered.  

Data Protection and Publicity  

The East of England Co-op handles information in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR and is the data controller for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018. The personal information provided by you when entering into the competition will be used to administer the competition and will not be shared with anyone unless the law allows us to do so. The East of England Co-op will hold your name, age and telephone number to contact the winners of the competition and for promotional purposes. We promise never to sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We also promise that your data will remain secure and confidential.
