Our limited-edition shopper bags

We ran a competition asking local children (aged 4-11) to design us a bag celebrating the theme of kindness and caring for others.

The teams at each of our stores picked a local winner, six of these were then chosen to feature on the bags.

£10,000 of profits from the bags, which are available to buy for £1 at all our Food stores, will go to our Community Cares Fund.

Meet the winners

Charlotte, 9 ¾, Frinton-on-Sea

“My design inspiration was to create something that would make people smile. I feel really proud to see my designs on the bags and I hope it makes people smile when they read the message.”

Myla, 5, Needham Market

“I'm really happy seeing my drawing on the bag. I drew the flowers and sun and heart because I like drawing happy things.”

Corban, 8, Felixstowe

“I think everyone in the world deserves love no matter what shape, size or colour they are.”

Isabel, 9, Wymondham

“At first, I didn’t think I would win, but when I found out I was jumping for joy! We all live on Earth and everyone’s different. If you spread kindness one day it will come back to you.”

Teddy, 8, Needham Market

“It feels really good seeing my design on the bag. I hope when people see it they’ll be kind because it’s got kind words on.”

Gracie, 10, Manningtree

“I’m very proud to see my design on the bag, I drew it because I thought it would make people feel happy about themselves. Sometimes if you have a bad day and someone just smiles at you it can make you feel ten times better.”
