Virtual Annual Members' Meeting 2021

This year, our Annual Members' Meeting will be held on Thursday 13th May 2021 at 6pm online.​

Under normal circumstances, this would be a physical meeting held at our head office in Wherstead Park, Ipswich. However following positive feedback received from members after our first virtual meeting in November 2020 and due to the continued Covid-19 pandemic, we will be holding the event online again this year.

What is the Annual Members' Meeting?

The Annual Members’ Meeting brings together our members, colleagues, Leadership Team and Board of Directors and gives our members the opportunity to have their say. It is open for all East of England Co-op members to attend.

What happens during the meeting?

In this meeting, our members get the opportunity to put questions to the Board and the Leadership Team. There will be a number of updates on what we’ve been up to in the last financial year. We will also announce the results of our Director Elections as well as receiving the Annual Report and Accounts.

Members will be able to vote on motions for 2021/22 including dividend, Directors’ fees, Society’s auditors and Co-operative Party subscription. Members who have been with the Society for over six months and have a minimum of £1 in their share account, can vote on motions during the meeting.
