Our Sourced Locally initiative is putting more local products on our supermarket and food store shelves than ever before. We are working with East Anglia’s finest producers, large and small, to source quality products from across our region.
From locally reared meat, to fish caught off our coastline, fruit and vegetables grown a few hundred yards from our store and bread which travels just 192 steps from bakery to supermarket. We are supplied by local breweries and vineyards, patisseries and creameries, and even a local chilli farm!
The East of England Co-operative Society has pledged to work with local producers to provide quality products and save food miles, as well as providing our Members and customers with more choice by offering more local products in our stores.
We are committed to working fairly and honestly with our local producers, to generate sustainable revenue for the Society and the producers and helping their businesses grow.
When we say local, we mean local. And we believe our Sourced Locally produce is miles better.
