Producer of the Year 2018

Now in their sixth year, the awards are a celebration of local farmers, growers and producers from across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. They aim to raise the profile of food and drink producers in our region, as well as highlight the importance of shopping locally.

Your County winners are...

From 1st January to 31st January, a record-breaking 28,638 votes were cast across the region by shoppers and members of the East of England Co-op.

The County winners will now be visited by a panel of food and farming experts before the overall Producer of the Year 2018 is crowned at the annual East of England Co-op Supplier Supper on 15 March.


Buxton Potatoes

Tim and his dedicated team grow, pick and pack on his farm in Buxton to offer up the perfect spud. They work with local businesses, charities and groups to keep their farm as sustainable as possible and always have a bit of fun along the way!


Havensfield Eggs

Fiona and her family go out of their way to make sure their hens enjoy 5 star accommodation at their home in Hoxne, roaming through orchards and even listening to the radio! The Havensfield team work hard throughout the year to offer their customers the very best tasting free range eggs.


Wicks Manor Pork

The Wicks Manor farm has been part of the Howie family for three generations and the welfare of their pigs has always come first. All wheat and barley feed is grown on the farm in Maldon and their high quality pork products are prepared in their own butchery and smokehouse.
