Sourced Locally Fortnight is back! We took a break last year due to the impact of the pandemic upon our stores and our local producers, so it feels fantastic to be back celebrating all the delicious local food and drink our region has to offer.

We are running our annual Sourced Locally Fortnight to encourage customers to keep it local, swapping their named-brand groceries for local alternatives. We’d love you to join us in keeping it local this Sourced Locally Fortnight (21 June to 4 July).

We’re proud to stock thousands of Sourced Locally products. Behind each one is a passionate team of people who’ve been working around the clock to keep our stores stocked over the past year.

Sourced Locally Fortnight, which was first launched back in 2007, runs from 21 June until 4 July across selected food stores in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

Sourced Locally aims to promote producers who are based locally, giving customers more choice and the ability to keep money in the local economy.

Over 100 producers who supply East of England Co-op stores across the region will see their brands promoted throughout the fortnight. Thousands of products are available, ranging from fruit and vegetables, jams and chutneys, to meats, fish, pies, fruit juices and wines.

This year, we are launching our new Sourced Locally Awards as part of Sourced Locally Fortnight.

The past year has been like no other. We’ve had to continuously adapt to meet unprecedented demand, and we couldn’t have achieved this without the support of our local producers and colleagues.

Our new Sourced Locally Awards will celebrate the amazing efforts of local producers and colleagues during the pandemic to meet unprecedented demand and support communities across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

The Sourced Locally Awards celebrate outstanding food and drink producers with a coveted Producer of the Year accolade up for grabs, as well as the Store of the Year award, which will acknowledge those stores that have gone the extra mile to champion local produce.

To recognise those producers and store colleagues who have gone above and beyond for the region during the crisis, the winner will be selected exclusively by communities themselves via customer votes only.

Vote for your winner

Voting in this year's Sourced Locally Awards is open from Monday 21 June to Sunday 25 July 2021. The winner in each of the two categories (Producer of the Year and Store of the Year) will be announced at our Supplier Supper in September.
