Bullards Gin
Hand crafted gin, the spirit of Norfolk.
Founded in 1837, Bullards is a name that is synonymous with the history of Norwich.
Brewing ceased at the Anchor Brewery in 1966, standing empty for many years, with the landmark chimney being demolished in 1982.
New beginnings
2015 saw the Bullards name revived. Listening to customer demand, they began focusing on the production of handcrafted gin. Their purpose-built distillery is the only distillery in Norwich, and the first for over 150 years.
180 years on from Richard Bullard's success, we’re delighted that his fifth and sixth generation descendants are still involved in the business.
Pride in our heritage
Bullards launched their new packaging in late 2018, with the ‘Tipsy Anchor’ taking centre stage. The shape of the bottle is inspired by the Bullards chimney that towered over Norwich for more than 100 years, building on the heritage of an iconic brand.
