The artist behind the design

Indigo Price, a local artist, is the creator of 'Future Holder'. Her story behind the design is to encourage us to take a moment and think about what the future could hold for our planet .Indigo hopes the sculpture will encourage speculation within the viewer about their role in our future and what they could maybe do to shape it.

Indigo grew up in central Ipswich and attended Ipswich School on an art scholarship. Creativity runs in the family as Indigo’s Mum, Sarah Baddon Price, is also an artist. Indigo has recently completed a Graphic Communication and Illustration BA at Loughborough University and is currently working as a freelance designer.

You can find out more information at Indigo’s website or her Instagram account.

What is the Big Hoot Ipswich 2022?

Following on from the success of the Elmer Big Parade in 2019 and Pigs Gone Wild in 2016, St Elizabeth Hospice is bringing the next Wild in Art Trail to Ipswich in 2022.

Starting on Sunday 19th June 2022, the trail will feature 50 local artist designed owl sculptures located around Ipswich including the city centre and the waterfront. The art trail will run until September 2022. After the trail, the Big Hoots will be auctioned to raise much needed funds for St Elizabeth Hospice with providing care and support to those living with life-limiting or progressive illnesses.
