Come and meet us at local events!

Our member and community team is always out and about in your local community, visiting over 120 events each year, from store openings and roadshows to agricultural events, including the Tendring, Suffolk and Norfolk Shows. 

Details will soon be available for the events we will be attending in 2018.

Suffolk Show

Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st May

Join us to celebrate our 150th anniversary.  Tour our exhibition over the decades, listen to live music provided by our supported groups, meet our community partners, visit our mini Farmers Market with the finest Sourced Locally produce, and meet our dementia friendly mini donkeys (Wed only), plus free face painting for children. 

Plus East of England Co-op members can enjoy a free cuppa in our café.  If you’re not a member, then you can join at the show.

Royal Norfolk Show

Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th June

Come and meet the adorable Jack Brock, a miniature Shetland pony who promotes our dementia friendly activities.  There’s a chance to see our 150th anniversary exhibition, free activities for children including face painting,  sample and buy our Sourced Locally produce, plus you’ll be able to chat to our community partners.  We’re also exhibiting our Funeral Services division, plus H.L. Perfitt, our stonemasons.

Tendring Show

Saturday 14th July

Members can pop into our Co-op Cuppa Café and enjoy a free cuppa, plus there’s plenty of fun and activities for all the family including free face painting, local producers showcasing their Sourced Locally fare, our community partners will be chatting about their work, and there’s another chance to see our 150th anniversary exhibition.

Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival

Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September

Join us in the EoE Co-op Cookery Theatre and enjoy some fabulous demonstrations by the region’s best chefs using amazing local produce.  If you’re travelling on the shuttle bus, you’ll also get the opportunity to sample some of our local produce.

Framlingham SausageFest

Sunday 14th October

See us on the sausage trail where we’ll be offering food samples, running a free to enter competition, offering free face painting for children, and if you’re not a member then you’ll be able to sign up on the day.
