Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager (Food Retail)
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive Per Hour
Hours: 39 Hours Per Week

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in the entire running of our busy Supermarket. In a typical day, you will be responsible for ensuring the branch’s full potential and profitability is achieved through great store standards and product availability, control of costs and customer engagement. You will also be accountable for branch compliance, including areas such as Health & Safety. 

You will be responsible for leading and managing the team in-store. Whilst you will have the support of the Branch Manager, you will need to demonstrate the confidence and leadership skills that bring out the best in those around you to ensure that a positive customer experience is delivered at all times.  

Experience of food retailing and line management would be desirable, but not essential, as our focus is on individuals with loads of enthusiasm and commitment. If you wish to discuss the working pattern for this role, please include this in your application.


We are looking for a new colleague to work with us 39 hours per week which will be worked on a rota basis to cover the range of trading hours which will be discussed during interview.
