Medicines Use Reviews
A medicines use review is an appointment with one of our pharmacists to focus on how you are getting on with your medicines. It is a free annual NHS service.
This service is available by booking an appointment at our five co-op pharmacies in Ipswich, Suffolk, as well as our pharmacies in Stowmarket, Felixstowe and Saxmundham.
Our pharmacist will run thorough all of your regular medication on prescription, or those that you purchase, and make sure you are getting the maximum benefit.
This will help you find out more about the medicines you are taking, pick up any problems you are having with your medicines, and could improve the effectiveness of your medicines.
You can use this opportunity to ask anything about your medicines you are taking, about side effects, how best to take it, and anything you should know about taking over the counter medicines with it.
Your Medicines Use Review is like an MOT for the medicines you take, and only takes around 20 minutes.
The meeting is confidential and will be carried out in a private area within our pharmacy, and all the details will be kept private – only you and your GP will receive a record of it.
