Eye Tests
We recommend that you have your eyes tested every two years by an Optometrist, and both NHS and private eye examinations are available at all our opticians branches.
Our professional Optometrists will carry out a thorough check of your eyes and vision including:
• Discuss the reason for your visit and any problems or changes you have noticed with your vision
• Checking your eye sight by reading letters on a chart
• Checking your inner eye
• Checking your outer eye
• Checking your eye muscles
• Checking to see if you need glasses or a change to your prescription
Eye Tests are available at all of our East of England Co-op opticians in Cox Lane, Ipswich, and Hamilton Road, Felixstowe in Suffolk and Old Road, Clacton-on-Sea and in store at our Peartree Road Supermarket, Colchester, Essex.

Please ensure that you bring with you to your appointment any glasses or contact lenses that you wear, and the names of any tablets or medicines you are taking, and the name of your doctor.
Once your eye test is complete our opticians can help you to select the right spectacles or contact lenses to match your prescription.
We can also include retinal imaging in your eye test for a small extra cost.
