Our Local Sourcing Manager
Meet Kevin Warden, our Local Sourcing Manager. Since taking on the role in 2008 Kevin has helped our project to source great quality local produce from across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex grow from just a handful of suppliers to more than 100; and it keeps growing.
Kevin is passionate about great local produce, and this is what he says:
“When we say local, we mean local! We put products in the store closest to the producer, and this is often just a few miles, or in some cases a few hundred yards, from our stores and where possible no more than a 30 mile radius.
“When fresh produce is available it can be picked, packed and in the customer’s shopping basket within a few hours.”
