The Co-operative is renowned for its range of wines, including an award winning range of Fairtrade wines.

The Co-operative was the first supermarket to launch an own brand Fairtrade wine with the Co-operative Chilean Carmenere in 2001.

And its not just our range of Fairtrade wines which are a hit with the wine critics.

The Co-operative was rated top of the food retailers in wine guide “The Best Wines in the Supermarkets 2010” compiled by wine critic Ned Halley.

A total of 32 Co-operative wines are featured in the guide, including five that scored 10 out of 10:
