Better health - Medicines Use Reviews.

The Medicines Review is an annual free NHS service from Pharmacies. Anyone who has regular medication will benefit from this opportunity for our Pharmacist to run through all your regular medication on prescription or those you purchase and make sure you are getting the maximum benefit. Use the opportunity to ask any question you want about side effects, how best to take it, anything you should know about taking over the counter remedies with it etc.

This service is available upon appointment at all Pharmacies except Felixstowe and Saxmundham at present, telephone the Pharmacy for your appointment.

Look out for this notice at the Pharmacy Counter.

Your NHS Medicines Use Review

Have you had your Medicines Use Review yet? It’s like an M.O.T for the medicines you take.

We provide a new NHS service to review the use of all the medication you currently use. Ask any question you wish and also how to get the maximum benefit from your medication. You get a copy of the result and so does your G.P.

All patients are entitled to this free, confidential service once a year, which we carry out here in the pharmacy, it takes about 20minutes.

Book your appointment now.

The NHS Information Technology modernisation program is working towards the introduction of  paperless prescriptions replacing the familiar green paper forms.

Over the next two years it will become possible to nominate the pharmacy to which your prescription will be sent by the Surgery. This process takes place electronically through the NHS net. There is no longer a need to collect your repeat prescriptions from the Doctor as they will automatically be messaged to the Pharmacy of your choice. All the Pharmacies in the UK will participate and as the scheme is introduced into Suffolk our Pharmacies will take part, requesting that you nominate your local Co-op Pharmacy as the regular destination for your electronic prescription.
