Our Services

The choice of funeral is highly personal. It should reflect your wishes and those of the person who has died. There are many different ways a funeral can celebrate the individuality of the deceased. Just as life is unique, so each funeral can be a unique tribute, not just marking a death, but celebrating a life. Your funeral director will help you with the options and choices available, however, the following is a general guide to some of the most popular choices.

Traditional funerals
Many clients prefer a traditional funeral incorporating arrangements which involve  either a `minimum of fuss`, or a more elaborate funeral, which may include the provision of a horse drawn hearse. For more information please contact one of our funeral directors or click on Traditional Horse Drawn funerals.

We can also offer more unusual arrangements, such as motorcycle hearses.

Environmentally friendly funerals
Other clients are concerned about the effect funerals can have on the environment. For this reason there are now several woodland burial sites available which are designed to blend in with their natural surroundings. For more information please contact one of our funeral directors or click on Burials.

D.W.P. funerals
`The Department for Work and Pensions`, formerly known as `The Department for Social Security`, offers assistance to people who do not have the means to pay for a funeral and are in receipt of a qualifying benefit. Whether or not a claim for financial assistance will be successful, is dependant on a number of circumstances. Your funeral director can advise you whether or not your circumstances meet such criteria. As members of `The National Association of Funeral Directors, we offer a simple funeral which is in accordance with their code of practice.
