Community Dividend
Our Community Dividend programme is a major commitment. So long as we continue to be successful as a business we will continue to support the many and varied communities within our region. |

What is Community Dividend?
Our principal charity share number is 660. Members, if they wish, donate the dividend on any of their purchases to a charity account. Every year hundreds of worthy organisations with local connections benefit from the funds generously donated by our members. This is a simple but highly effective method of supporting local good causes and last year more than £100,000 was raised and distributed.
Pyramids Playbus, which operates in rural communities, has received a Community Dividend donation.
Donations are made by one-off contributions of cash, vouchers, or goods in kind, and range in value from £10 to £1,000 - higher in exceptional circumstances.
The 660 fund also supports longer-term giving to over 120 local groups, charities and projects that receive regular donations of £240 each year. Larger sums go to the Leagues of Friends of our district hospitals in Ipswich, Norwich and Gorleston. |
