The East of England Co-op is the largest provider of convenience stores in the region, with more than 130 conveniently located co-op food stores and supermarkets across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Whether you are doing your weekly shop or popping in after work for a few items, all of our stores have a great range of offers and promotions.
Online Electricals
Through our specialist East of England Co-op online electricals website you can order a wide range of electrical products including music players and mobile phones, kettles and toasters, widescreen televisions and kitchen appliances. With items available for fast delivery and Dividend for East of England Co-op members, we offer affordable electrical items online from a name you can trust.
Funerals and Bereavement Services
The East of England Co-op is one of the leading bereavement services providers in the region, and operates 30 funeral branches across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. As well as providing professional funeral services, we can also provide funeral bonds and pre-payment plans and a network of bereavement support groups.
Travel Branches
Our 10 Co-operative travel branches in Essex offer the chance to get away to a wide range of locations from UK breaks to round-the-world cruises. As we are not linked to any tour operator, our colleagues can offer independent advice, as well as travel money, travel insurance, airport parking and car hire.

Opticians
The Society’s four optical branches in Ipswich, Felixstowe, Colchester and Clacton-on-Sea offer eye tests and optical services. We stock a wide range of frames and accessories for the whole family, including designer frames, prescription sunglasses, contact lenses, children’s ranges and sports eyewear.
Pharmacies
Our East of England Co-op pharmacies – five in Ipswich, as well as branches at Samundham, Stowmarket and Felixstowe – dispense prescriptions and sell a wide range of other medicines and personal items. Our fully trained pharmacists can offer professional health advice for minor aliments and other symptoms.
Petrol Forecourts
Our five East of England Co-op petrol forecourts in Ipswich, Felixstowe, Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea and Brightlingsea are conveniently located for you to fill up with fuel and pick up a few groceries.
Post Offices
The East of England Co-op operates 23 post offices within food stores and supermarkets across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, including main post offices and sub-post offices, offering a range of services to our customers.
Easier Living Mobility Centres
The East of England Co-op’s newest venture is our Easier Living Centres in Ipswich and Colchester, which offer advice and a wide range of living aids to assist people with mobility and independent living. We are working in partnership with healthcare professionals to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for people who are encountering challenges in their health and mobility.

Events and Conference Centre
Our Society head office at Wherstead Park, Suffolk, is also home to our events and conference centre. Set within 17 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds overlooking the River Orwell, Wherstead Park offers a range of facilities for business or pleasure including our Grade II listed Georgian mansion and stunning full height atrium.
Distribution Centre
At the heart of our food retail operation is our distribution centre at Boss Hall Business Park, Ipswich. The huge 140,000 square foot centre stocks more than 3,500 different product lines, and our transport fleet travels thousands of miles a year to deliver goods to stores whatever the weather!
Property
The East of England Co-operative Society owns an extensive investment property portfolio, containing a mix of residential and commercial properties, with properties available to rent across our trading area of Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.
